Laika Sterling, KPA CTP
(they/them)
A lifelong animal lover, Laika began their career working with animals in veterinary medicine. They quickly developed an interest for working with fearful, “hard-to-handle” animals. This led to a passion for ethical dog training and behavior modification. Laika went on to assist a veterinarian with behavior consultations and training. During this time, Laika graduated from the Karen Pryor Academy for Animal Training & Behavior.
Laika shares their home with two dogs (Rex and Tofu) and a rabbit (Sapphire). In their spare time, they enjoy clicker training animals of all kinds, creating animal portraits, and playing video games.
